Sobia joined Brilliant International School in 2018. She has a Master of Islamic Education and a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Psychology. She has an in-depth qualification in the study of the Holy Quran and Hadith, obtained in the UAE.

Her experience spans over 9 years of teaching in British curriculum schools in the UAE.

She is confident in planning engaging student led lessons. She has expertise in making Islam relevant to the everyday lives of students and has the passion to inspire love of learning in her students. She enjoys leading the Islamic Ethos in the school and ensures Muslim students have a confident and a balanced Islamic identity.

Sobia is energetic and takes the lead on activities and events to promote knowledge and practice of Islam. She has managed interschool student competitions in Quran and Hadith leading to the successful win of students of Brilliant International Private School.
