I have a BA Hones degree in Arts and Education with a specialism in (Arabic and Islamic Education) this has been awarded to me after 4 years of rigorous intensive teacher training. Arshiya Syed, leading ICT department, having a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Application (BCA) and Certified in Artificial Intelligence, with 8 years of experience in teaching ICT and passionate about fostering computer literacy and academic excellence. I am, Ma. Lourdes Medalla, an IGCSE teacher and currently the acting Head of the English Department. I have been teaching English for almost nine years. Throughout my career, I have been lucky enough to work in a range of grade groups that allow me to experience teaching different grade level syllabus.

I believe that my role as a teacher is to create dynamic lifelong learners, globally competitive and catalysts to social change students and to achieve all of these I always strive to build a classroom environment where there is trust and where learners feel comfortable to express themselves and push them to the best of their abilities and achieve their goals.

My name is Lleranie and I will be handling the FS and Year1 section for this Academic Year.

I am a mother of two and an alumnus of Ateneo de Cagayan University where I have completed my highest degree in Education in 2009. In the same year, I passed the board exam for teachers and got my teaching license in the Philippines. During this time, I completed my Master’s Degree in Educational and Administration while teaching in a school in the Philippines.

I decided to come her in UAE to pursue my career in education in 2012. Along with teaching and learning, my leadership experience developed when I had to do different roles while I was working in this school.

For the years that I studied and work in the education field as early as 20 years old, I started to have an internal reason that reached the plateau stage in my career. Everything seemed routine and predictable. But then, when the Covid19 pandemic came, we started to shift to e-learning then hybrid learning. I felt like I have moved out of my comfort zone and was on an edge of a cliff feeling the thrill and excitement again in my career. I eagerly search and look for different platforms to widen my knowledge, enrich children’s e-learning experience and influence more people to become better at what they do.

I am thankful for the opportunity given to me and I look forward to working in partnership with our parents and teachers in the development of our precious children.

Mohamed Khalaf has been a part of BIPS since 2018. He joined the school as the Counselor. He remained in this position until 2019. Then he moved in to Boys Supervisor position. I am Basma. I have been professionally contributing to the development and care of childhood for nearly thirteen years. I have been in the Middle East at International nurseries in Kuwait, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, and Umm Al Quwain.
I am an English Literature graduate, and in 2020, I obtained a CACHE LEVEL 5 Diploma in Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (England) as well as Children and young people’s management, and a Postgraduate Certificate from Liverpool John Moores University.
In 2009 I moved to Kuwait to work for many Early Childhood Centers, and in 2015 I came to the UAE to where I worked at a managerial capacity in many early childhood centers.

Ben is an educator with over 18 years’ experience within the public school sector in the UK and private within the UAE. Throughout his teaching career he has delivered Mathematics and ICT to Secondary school pupils alongside managing and implementing new initiatives to improve the overall education experience of his pupils. His Leadership experience has ranged from Head of Department to Acting Principal, with lots of other roles in between. He believes that his classroom experience and knowledge has allowed him to be a better manager to his staff and ultimately deliver a greater experience to the pupils he is employed to educate. Bens background knowledge of ICT use within schools has allowed him to develop technology within the classroom for staff and students, especially during the recent pandemic.

Ben lives in Dubai with his wife and 5 year old daughter. His wife is also a Maths teacher! They have all enjoyed living in the UAE for the past 4 years, with all of its travel and cultural opportunities. Ben also enjoys reading in his spare time, Clive Cussler being his favourite author.
